Why we built Qome

Renovating is one of the biggest things most people ever spend on, yet it's done largely in the dark. Homeowners guess at prices and hope a quote is fair. Good tradespeople get buried among platforms that sell their details as leads and skim a cut off honest work.

We thought it should be simpler and more honest. Put real prices in the open. Let people plan properly, with the family who'll live with the result. And give tradespeople somewhere to be found on the strength of their actual reputation, without a middleman taking a slice.

Even the name says it: Qome is "quote" and "home", honest pricing and your home, in one place. That's the whole idea.
